The 2011 Miss Union County Fair Queen:

 Jenna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Harner.   A graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School, she is a Senior at Southeast Missouri State University  with dual majors  in secondary and middle school mathematics education and a minor in Spanish. Jenna is employed by the SEMO learning assistant programs.  Jenna was very active as our queen and participated in many community events during the year.

Miss Union County Fair Superintendent is Lorraine Moreland.

 

 

The pageant for Miss Union County Fair will be  held on Sunday evening, August 21, 2011 in front of our grandstand at 7:30 pm.

 

The Miss Union County Fair Pageant is held annually on the first night  night of the fair.  Contestants compete for more than $4,000 in cash and prizes.  Contestants must between the ages of 16 and 22 as of January 1, 2011, never married, a resident of Union County or attended or graduated from a Union County School and not competing in another county fair pageant in 2011.  Each contestant will be judged in interview, swimsuit, and evening gown.

 Prizes for Miss Union County Fair include:

$1,000 Scholarship from the V. F. W.

                              A car to use the week of the fair.

                                   A crown, trophy and luggage.

                                                $300 from the Union County Fair Board

                                                                  The experience of competing for the title of Miss Illinois State  Fair  in Springfield.

 

 

Prizes for the First Runner Up include:

A $1,000 scholarship from the Anna Elks Club

                                       $200 from the Union County Fair Board

 

 

Prizes for the Second Runner Up include:

$300 scholarship from Son-Shine Amusements

                                       $200 scholarship from the Anna Elks

                                                   $100 from the Union County Fair Board

 

Miss Congeniality receives a $250 bond from the Anna Kiwanis Club.
