Union County Fair is celebrating its 129th fair this year.  For 128 years, volunteers have been the backbone of the fair and the board salutes their efforts and sincerely thanks them for their years of outstanding participation.

Kate, from Cobden, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Winzenburger.  Kate is also first runner up to Miss Illinois County Fair, 2008
